The following post is for all those who have seeked for help for me

I am just a fresher so need not call me SIR or Respected Sir and “sorry” i cannot help you all in getting permission from some company to visit as a part of your industrial visit. You always need some big shots or much influence to get into some company for industrial visit.

Those who want to know about the various companies in coimbatore you can always google. I have already mentioned the companies which we visited in one of  the comments. Many have asked what all companies allow for industrial visits, most of the companies dont allow. As mentioned earlier only with the help of some big shots it will be possible. In the comments many have just pasted the whole permission letter which is genrally sent to the companies i dont know why this has been done !!

Quick Post

Just now changed my blog’s image header. It looks awesome(what i feel). Lemme be true it was not designed by me. It was a wallpaper downloaded and i customized it according to my wish and made it my image header. The quality of the image has gone down because of shrinking it and doing some cut,copy and paste operations on the original image.

1. Trip to trivandrum, kanyakumari with family – the trip was good and i saw sun rise for the first time standing on the shores of beach .. absolutely beautiful..

2. Everybody started asking me about my new year resolution.. i told everyone “my new year resolution is not to take any resolutions” hope i will stick on to my resolution

3. Got Internet at home and brought my old system to Bangalore.. you can find me online through the day..

4. Saw “rock on”.. good one.. worth watching..

5. Bad condition of IT industry continues.. 2009 is going to be a tough time for every company..

20 Hours of Journey ..

Hi all, I am back after a long time. Presently i am located in Bangalore, this post should have made been long before. I was bit busy and now got some time to blog. So let me start.

As everyone do I wanted to visit my home for diwali. For people who don’t know, my home is in Madurai. The travelling time from Bangalore to Madurai is approximately 10-11 hrs in bus. But it took around 20 hours for me to reach madurai. How come ?? Why ?? All these questions will raise .. Let me answer all these questions.

I couldn’t get a ticket in train. So booked a ticket in bus after a great deal of difficulty. The bus was at 10.30 p.m. I started from office at 4.30 with my luggages. I took a city bus from nagavara to krpuram railway station(all these places may be familiar to only Bangalore people). From krpuram railway station I took a local passenger train and reached majestic kempegowda bus stand. From there again took a bus to satellite bus stand. It was almost 9 p.m when i reached satellite bus stand. Had my dinner and boarded the bus. Almost 5 hours of travelling is over, 5 hours just to reach the local bus stand . The bus started at 11 p.m and reached Madurai at 12 the next day. Approximately I have been in travelling for 20 hours taking buses and trains . Just to reach the local bus stand it took 5 hours because of the traffic. Then just for crossing Hosur it took more than 3 hours again because of the traffic. Atlast I was delighted to see Madurai after my 20 hours of journey . This is wat happened. I realised that I can be in travel continuously for 20 hours .

Kangal Irundhal

This song is from the movie Subramaniyapuram. Music director of the film is James Vasanthan. Right from the begining i have become the most craziest fan of the song. This song has been rocking in the recent past. What ever channel we tune in television this song is being telecasted, not once but quite a large number of times a day. I dont get bored even if i hear this song thousand times a day, to such an extent this song has attracted me. The songs visual too is good to watch, the cute looks of the hero and heroine, the  greenish village spots.. Everything adds to the credit.

Visit to chennai

After a long gap i visited chennai which is one of the IT hub in India. I was astonished by the development of the city. To describe in chennai in few words – Thousands of shops,lakhs of vechiles, crores of people. According to me the city is over crowded. You cannot peacefully drive vechile on roads, traffic and signals keep on torturing drivers. In addition to traffic jams and signals demand on petrol and diesel adds torture to the people.The public transport system is really good. You need entertainment then chennai is the place for you – shopping malls, cinema theatres, cafes, hotels and the list never ends..

Met Sairam and Venkatesh in chennai. Vins too joined us in chennai. Few places we visited together includes vandalur zoo, citi center, spencers, rain forest restaurant, beach, stadium and this list too never ends.. Was great roaming with friends, after many days we spent time together. This trip was really a memorable one.

3.30 a.m at Periyar

After convocation was over my friends decided to watch dasaavatharam, the long expected film in tamil film industry. Since it was the first day after film release getting ticket was bit difficult but we managed to book our tickets. Saddest part was that there was no seat numbering system and we were late to the theatre so had to sit in the first row after paying Rs.100 . My kind advice, never try sitting in the first row of the theatre you will have a tough time. But i convinced myself once i saw few guys sitting down in the stage without seats. If i was a bit more late i would have been one among them sitting down.. by luck i was not. Once movie was over it was around 2 a.m we got bus from thirunagar to periyar very soon. Reached periyar some time around 2.20 a.m. My self and vins were hanging in periyar for anna nagar bus for nearly an hour. We thought of an bad idea of walking to my house but even this idea seemed better after waiting one hour for bus. We were too tired to execute the idea. Only mattuthavani and thirumangalam buses were frequently passing us. So we decided to go to mattuthavani and hire an auto to my home. Once we changed our plan, there was no buses to mattuthavani too . Atlast we two got a bus at 3.30 a.m and reached home at 4 a.m.

From Debian(Etch) To Ubuntu(Hardy herron)

For a long time Debian etch was running on my box, one of the most famous and used distros. Wanted to try few other distros so last week(because of no option) installed Ubuntu(Feisty Fawn). That was quite nice with good desktop effects and latest packages. Now installed the latest release of Ubuntu named Hardy Herron. This includes the latest and stable version of many core products like Firefox3, enhanced photo manager, F-Spot etc. Seems to have lot more features.

What happened all through April and May ??

hi folks

It has been quite a long time i has blogged(probably 2  months). There are few events which i wanted to blog some are my final semester(VIII) coming to an end, last working day, farewell party, receiving my company offer letter, my company training in college and atlast me becoming engineer. Today my final semester result was published,  to my surprise Nachiappan finished with 9.33gpa !! I couldn’t believe my eyes because i have never been closer to even 9. But this time due to projects crossed the line of 9.

College life is one of the most unforgettable parts of one’s life. So that unforgettable part of my life comes to an end with my final semester results, after this entering a new life which is going to tough with lot of responsibilities and duties. And one more thing which worried me a lot was departing from friends. This was really painful than anything else ;( . Now every one is eagerly waiting for mail from companies for joining dates.
