I wanted to be the first of everyone in posting about this trip. This was second trip for me. First one was a trekking trip to Yelagiri hills. This time we decide on Malpe, St.Mary’s island as the trip’s main spots and decided to visit places around that. We, a gang of 12 people started on friday night and reached Udupi after the whole night travel. kudremukh national park was on the way to Udupi. Got down took some photos and continued the travel. The national park was greenish thick vegetation. One would love to stay in a place like that. We were not allowed to spend much time there because of some security issues. We were able to find a good lodge booked some rooms. After a shower we were ready to ready to rock!! Udupi was famous for idly and sambhar, so went to hotel and had good breakfast. Started towards Malpe. Malpe was some 6kms from Udupi and it hardly took half an hour. Malpe has a shipyard. Other than the shipyard there is nothing much to spend time. From there to reach St.Mary’s island we had to travel through boats. Boat travel took some half an hour and finally we were in island. Changed dress and got into the water and started playing. We were jumping, running, … crazy !! After enjoying the beach again got into normal clothes and what’s next, photo session. Took photos and it was time for our boat back. Again after half an hour of travel we were back in Malpe. It was lunch time. People who visit beach don’t come without having sea food, we are not exceptions. Went into hotel and it was completely fish time :) . The taste was not that great and we wern’t happy with the way the hotel guys behaved because they took a lot time and they didnt respond well. We started towards the Maravanthe beach. It took almost an hour to reach the beach. In few minutes people were able to see Ronaldo’s and Rooney’s. We started playing football :) . We called it beach football. My team lost in the match. And about the specialty of the beach is that there is river running parallel to the beach but it doesn’t merge with the beach, it takes its own path. On the way back to hotel we visited a temple. Reached hotel had good dinner and started playing cards. At 12 we were gone out of control  since last night none of us slept and so went for sleep. That is the end of the first day.

Next day no one dared to get up before 6. Everyone got up at 7.30 and had shower. The Udupi krishnan temple was very near to the place we stayed and it was a very famous one. Had darshan of Lord Krishna and completed breakfast. We tried out some new dishes available only in Mangalore or Udupi. We started towards Kaup beach. It was few kilometers from our hotel. On the way we played damsharats and heard songs. After reaching the beach we were amazed to see the beach. Not even a single soul was there. We ever the only guys there. We started playing volley ball in the water. Took photos and kicked off from there. There was a plan of visiting Kodachadri hills. On the way we felt like it was too far because everyone had office the very next day. The plan got cancelled and we started heading towards Bangalore. The cab driver suggested us to visit Tunga river since it was on the way. After few hours of travel we were at the banks of Tunga river. Spent some time there taking photos and playing in water. We started towards Bangalore. Around 2.30 am i was near my house. Really a memorable and wonderful trip. Thanks for the organizers. The gang details Pramod, Prabhu, Deivapalan,Rajesh, Senthil, Praveen, Shyam, Sai, Prakash, Muthusivam, Subramani and ofcourse me :) . Most of the gang members are my seniors. This is just an small description of the trip.
